Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actor from Australia. Cornish's filmography includes roles such her role as Heidi in Somersault 2004 Fanny Brawne, Sweet pea in Suckerpunch, Lindy in Limitless 2011, Clara Murphy in RoboCop 2014 and Sarah in Geostorm 2017. Additionally, she acted with Martin McDonagh on Seven Psychopaths 2012 and Three Billboards outside Ebbing Missouri (2017). The latter movie Cornish won her first Screen Actors Guild Award as part of the ensemble. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, star of Adventureland 2009 and many others, was her father. Ann McDonough was her mother. Betty Gilpin was able to take the decision to be an actor due to her love and encouragement that she received from her parents. Fordham College is where Betty Gilpin honed her craft. Gilpin continued to be a candidate for films and television roles while performing in Off Broadway shows. Gilpin was able to land a guest appearance in the show on NBC called Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001-2011) and then followed it up with smaller roles in Ghost Town (2008) and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin kept securing TV guest roles over the next few years until she got her first break in 2013 when she was offered a recurring role on Nurse Jackie. The character of the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin appeared in 34 episodes of the series before Nurse Jackie was cancelled in June 2015. Gilpin played the role as a character in True Story, a thriller featuring a mysterious element.
