Toni Collette, an Australian actor, gained notoriety with 1994's comedy drama Muriel's Wedding. She later gained further recognition for her thriller The Sixth Sense. Since then, the multifaceted actress has been in many films, including The Hours, Japanese Story, About a Boy, Little Miss Sunshine, The Way, Way Back, Knives Out and Hereditary. She has received a great number of awards for her work on television which includes the United States of Tara series as well as Wanderlust. Louisa was born into a big family. Lida Wright is her mother. She was American while Robert Henry Krause, her father, was half Japanese. Nathaniel Krause works as the director of a production company. She also has a brother. When she is not working she likes to spend it with her family on trips to the forest or barbecuing. She is really emotionally connected to her father and has even bought him a house near her so they can see each other more often. Louisa Krause's Career Louisa Krause's career began by not doing it for money, but rather to get noticed by professional film production companies. It proved to be an effective method. Her first stage work was acting in the theatre, and was a part of numerous off-Broadway shows. Her most memorable roles were in In a Dark Dark House in 2007 and Les Liaisons Dangereuses in 2008. Then, in the latter part of 2007, she began her acting career in the film industry as a supporting actress in Babysitter as well as The Speed of Life. After a 2 year absence from acting, she starred as a character in Taking Woodstock and Toe to Toe. Later, over the next two years she concentrated on shorts movies.
