Sofia Vergara
Sofia Margarita Vergara Vergara grew her childhood in Barranquilla. Margarita Davila Vergara is her mother. Julio Enrique Vergara Robayo is her father. He supplies cattle to the meat industry. Her siblings include five. She was a student at a private bilingual school, which taught Spanish as well as English. After that, she went to pre-dental school. However, Sofia was discovered by an amateur photographer while at the beach, and this brought her to different jobs as a model and a TV host. At the age of 23 she was model. She co-hosted the travel show Fuera de serie (1996) in 1995 through 1998. The show brought her attention to the American public. The first time she appeared on television was in the 2002 crime comedy Big Trouble. Gloria Delgado Pritchett was the part that led her to become an established star on Modern Family, an American show on television (2009). For this role, she received four Emmy nominations between 2010 and 2013 for Outstanding Actress in Comedy Series. Sofia shares a home with son Manolo at home in Los Angeles.
